Matthew Batchelor graduated with honours from Curtin University of Technology Western Australia in 1991. He has been with our Perth office since this time, beginning with Howlett and Bailey Architects which merged with Cox Architecture in 1995.
Matthew registered as an Architect in 1995, appointed as an Associate in 2005, and became a Director in 2016.
Matthew has expertise in design, documentation and contract administration of complex public and commercial buildings across Sport, Education, Cultural and Community, Office and Residential, Justice and Technology Development sectors.
Matthew’s experience includes international, high rise and complex projects across varying forms of delivery.
Apart from his input and leadership on many substantial works, his role in the company since its inception has included several practice management positions including Resource Management, Quality Assurance and IT/BIM.
