Shirin is a Graduate of Landscape Architecture with experience working in teams on large and small scale projects, in both Australia and internationally. On completion of her studies, she worked for the City of Los Angeles in the Architectural department as a Landscape Architectural Assistant where she advanced her skills in construction and design on landscape projects.
She is currently working as Urban and Landscape Designer on various projects in Sydney. Local projects include WestConnex Urban Design and Revitalisation Project, Parramatta Road Urban Transformation Strategy, North Ryde Station Transit Orientation Development, North West Rail Link, Macquarie University Master Plan, Macquarie University Roadwork, and the Westmead Health and Medical Research Precinct. She has assisted with the development of the design and context information of the above projects through their various stages. Shirin has also worked on international projects such as the Shanghai Yangpu Waterfront, looking at the landscape design of a seven-kilometre waterfront district, in addition to the award-winning master plan for Puteri Harbour in Malaysia.
