Richard is a highly proficient and experienced architect who has led the design of several significant public realm, nature-based tourism and sporting destination projects.
Richard’s experience of designing landmark projects includes the Eden Project in Cornwall, UK (largest indoor rainforest in the world), and The Savill Garden Visitor Centre, UK (a project for the Queen in Windsor Park) made from locally forested timbers to form a grid shell roof. Both projects aimed to engage visitors with innovative structures and sustainable landscapes.
An architect with a strong understanding of delivering quality design outcomes and projects both internationally and within Australia, Richard has well-developed skills in dealing with complex building projects and diverse stakeholder groups, whilst working with design teams across all phases of projects from feasibility, design and documentation. He brings both imagination, enthusiasm alongside technical capability to every project he leads.
