We are seeking talented Architects to join our studio and play a key role in a diverse range of exciting ongoing and upcoming projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the management team to take a lead role on smaller projects, or package lead on larger projects.
- Liaison and coordination within project teams, clients and consultants
- Contribute to the presentation of design proposals to clients, addressing questions, concerns, and modifications as needed.
- Analyse and interpret data to inform design decisions and solutions.
- Contribute to creating innovative design options that align with the client’s vision, functional requirements, and budget constraints.
- Have a general understanding of construction detailing requirements for a broad range of projects.
- High level of schematic, design development and architectural documentation and detailing on a wide spectrum of sectors and projects
- Production of detailed workings, plans, drawings, schedules and specifications
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
- Work closely with COX team, consultants, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into the construction process.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum 7 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on starting to take on increased responsibilities over a range of project phases.
- Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent in a related field – highly desirable
- Experienced in using BIM software and tools. Advanced Revit skills preferable. Rhino and Grasshopper skills advantageous
- Architectural design and documentation: Proficiency in designing and documenting buildings and projects, with a strong understanding of architectural principles and practices.
- Proactive in supporting project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Understanding of construction principles and practices, including building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Proficient in preparing and presenting design proposals, reports, and visual materials.
- Site analysis and research: Experienced in conducting site analyses and researching local context.
- Skilled at applying design thinking principles to drive innovative solutions.
- Knowledgeable about sustainable design principles and practices.
- Experienced in using BIM software and tools. Advanced Revit skills preferable. Rhino and Grasshopper skills advantageous
- Experience working on large scale and complex projects
- Team and consultant coordination skills
