We are currently searching for a talented and highly creative individual to join our Interior Design team as a dedicated Graphic Designer & Content Creator.

About the role:

Based in our award-winning studio on Flinders Lane, you’ll be responsible for delivering compelling creative output that embodies the quality of our designs and the variety & scale of our projects.

As a member of an architectural practice, you will need to demonstrate a keen eye for design. With the support of our team, you will develop a strong understanding of our studio design principles and style to ensure our projects, presentation and submission materials maintain a consistent adherence to the COX brand. This will require you to be well-versed in the Adobe Suite and able to digest critique to deliver visually compelling work.

Beyond aesthetic execution, you’ll be comfortable in crafting documents that effectively communicate to their relevant audiences. This knack for communication – both written and verbal – is essential in translating information within our collaborative practice.

As a graphic designer you know the importance of maintaining a consistent graphic database, so a small part of your time will go towards ensuring our internal folders and servers are maintained to our quality standards.

You will be working alongside both our Interior Design and Marketing & Communications teams to assist with studio and national marketing initiatives as required.

Responsible for:

Delivery and production of graphic design solutions across a range of areas:

• Marketing & Submissions
  • EOIs / RFTs / RFP documents including proof reading
  • Capability Documents & Marketing materials
  • Updating internal servers for our National Graphics team with imagery and text
• Design Services
  • Building signage & wayfinding
  • Competition & award entry boards
  • Project materials, including reports
  • Internal & external communications

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience working within company brand guidelines and templates
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• An understanding of typography, layout, animation, and art direction
• Ability to see projects from inception to production
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to build effective relationships
• Adaptable and forward thinking
• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Degree in Design / Visual Communication or significant relevant experience
