Project Architect

COX Architecture is a multidisciplinary Australian practice which integrates architecture, planning, urban design, and interior design.

About the role:

We are currently searching for experienced Project Architects to join our Melbourne Transport & Infrastructure team on major rail projects.

Responsible for:

• Liaison and interdisciplinary coordination with project team, clients and consultants
• Production of detailed workings, plans, drawings, schedules and specifications
• Design and documentation – AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketchup
• Design and planning, including graphic requirements / presentations
• Site activities as required

Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience post-registration
• Previous Victorian rail experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability managing a project team
• Demonstrated ability managing stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to build effective relationships
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions
• Adaptable and forward thinking
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit, Rhino, Sketchup, Enscape, Revizto, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Architecture
• Registration with ARBV
• MTM accreditation highly desirable
