We are seeking a skilled senior architect with 12+ years’ experience to join our studio and contribute to a variety of exciting ongoing and upcoming projects. You will work closely with our wider design and delivery team in a collaborative environment. The role will have the successful candidate involved in all aspects of a project from concept to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile and large-scale architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, contributing to project delivery and decision-making, while working collaboratively with senior leaders to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
- Liaison and co-ordination with project team, clients and consultants
- Manage and assist with the production of detailed workings, plans, drawings, schedules and specifications
- Manage the design, documentation and construction of projects
- Manage the work of each member of the design and delivery team
- Liaise with approving authorities as required
- Contribute to business development initiatives, build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and identify new business opportunities that align with company goals and design expertise.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in architectural design, project management, and team leadership.
- Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Registration with the relevant governing body highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in building design, documentation, and architectural practice.
- Passion for design; creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking.
- Ability to develop and resolve planning and design solutions.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, timelines, deliverables, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction principles, building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Extensive experience in site analysis, local context research, and policy review.
- Advanced application of design thinking to deliver innovative outcomes.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Experience managing BIM execution and digital delivery plans.
- Proficient in Revit; Rhino and Grasshopper experience advantageous.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants, and stakeholders while fostering a collaborative environment.
