COX’s Design Technology Group to visit Mexico, the USA and more.

A busy and exciting month is about to kick off for COX Architecture’s Design Technology Group, whose members are positioned around the country and whose job it is to ensure that we remain at the cutting-edge of architectural practice and thought.

First up, is a visit to the ACADIA 2018 conference in Mexico City where Perth’s Tristan Morgan, Canberra’s Nissie Bungbrakearti and Sydney’s Andrew Butler will learn from the world’s most innovative players in the computer-aided design field. This year’s program includes presentations from researchers and practitioners from Princeton University, NVIDIA, ETH Zurich, The Association for Robots in Architecture, Zaha Hadid Architects, HKS, and many more.

Following Mexico City is a visit to Autodesk University in Las Vegas, an intensive ‘hackathon’ workshop in Sydney and the Para Guru Symposium in Melbourne. We’ll share more about these events as they unfold and as we continue to build Cox Architecture’s global presence in digital innovation and research.
