COX’s Adelaide Studio Celebrated at the 2025 Australian Interior Design Awards
COX’s Adelaide Studio has been recognised at the 2025 Australian Interior Design Awards, receiving the prestigious Workplace Design Award and being named Best of State – Commercial Design.
The jury commended the studio for its refined, calming environment and its thoughtful integration of sustainable design practices, cultural collaboration, and a commitment to wellbeing. Developed in close consultation with First Nations Elders and local artisans, the project reflects a deep connection to Kaurna Country—embedding meaning and authenticity into every detail.
In a highly competitive category filled with exceptional work, the jury praised the project’s ability to balance material integrity with cultural and environmental sensitivity—ultimately creating a workplace that fosters productivity, diversity, and a genuine sense of belonging.

At COX, designing our own studio was an opportunity to reimagine what a contemporary workplace could be. The result is a space that redefines the modern studio—where craft, community, and wellness converge. Designed for flexibility and adaptability, the Adelaide Studio encourages collaboration while also providing space for pause and reflection. It’s a place where functionality meets inspiration, and where architecture actively supports the people who bring it to life.
