As a Director of COX Architecture in Adelaide, Adam plays an important role in the concept design, design review and successful delivery of SA-based projects. Joining COX in 2002, he has significant experience in architecture and urban design, working as design lead on projects across major Australian cities and overseas. Adam was the Lead Architect for the Adelaide Oval Redevelopment, and Design Director for the award-winning Adelaide Botanic High School.
Throughout his career, Adam has been able to build skills in client liaising and briefing, concept design, design development, project advocacy and delivery. Adam’s skill-set bridges many areas of design, with specialist experience in education, sport, residential, cultural and urban design. He is regarded as a senior thought leader both in the design of contemporary learning environments and in sports architecture.
Adam’s leadership can be attributed to his focus on collaborative working, which has allowed him to achieve the design and delivery of high quality, innovative built form. Working with his client’s aspirations and contemporary architecture in mind, he is regarded as an architect who creates spaces that enrich culture, diversity and civic life within progressive and sustainable environments.
