Site News: Soft opening at the National Maritime Museum of China in Tianjin

Landmark public building achieves completion and commences operation!
This week, the museum commenced trial opening in the form of a ‘soft launch’. This included a restricted number of public visitors while operational kinks are ironed-out and final touches are applied to the grand scale exhibits and features.
The museum will only accept 900 visitor per-day in the current arrangement, with only 2 to 3 of the Halls open to public for the time being.
A formal, State-level opening will follow later in the year and we’re excited to be able to share a full suite of project materials with you then, with photography provided by a world-leading practitioner to fully capture the scale, grandeur and ambition of the project.
