Una Providore

Una Providore is a 110-square-metre space akin to a contemporary alimentari. The material palette is robust and restrained. A simple framework of plywood shelving, brick tiles and blackened steel allows the vibrancy of the abundant produce to be the hero. Exploring the idea of modularity and beauty in repetition the design is artfully understated.
A bite sized grocer, with a look and feel that reflects how diversity in the landscape creates a diversity in produce. Produce and wine are elegantly curated, and cheese, charcuterie and tinnery rooms are the backdrop of the space.

The design was intended to be quite rustic, articulated in brick, steel and plywood, sitting quietly against the colourful cacophony of produce.
