Leaders in sport gather to discuss the future of sport and entertainment venues

Cox Architecture is again attending the Stadia and Arena conference, now in its 19th year. This conference brings together industry leaders in all aspects of sports venue design, construction, management, operations and technology from around the world. It is a platform for industry practitioners to exchange and share innovative ideas, new projects, trends around the globe.

Held this year in Chiba Japan, our delegation is led by Directors Alastair Richardson and Russell Lee.  Cox are engaged in several projects, including the redevelopment of the Olympic Aquatic Centre, to help Tokyo prepare for the Olympic Games in 2020.

Cox will be presenting a roundtable and master class session on revenue based design and funding strategies for the development of sport and entertainment venues with our friends from Mott MacDonald and HKS.

With the global experience this partnership represents, and speakers from the AFL and Texas Rangers, this session affords an opportunity for leading international stadium owners and leading Japanese clubs to come together to discuss the future of stadium design in Japan.
