Kate has been working in the industry for over 25 years. Her extensive architectural experience spans aviation, industrial, tertiary education and commercial projects with specialist experience in the design of aircraft docking systems, hangar maintenance facilities, aircraft services integration and aircraft fit in hangars.
Kate has led numerous projects from concept to completion, with experience in client liaison, design, documentation, management and administration, high level feasibility reports, functional design briefs, user requirements briefs, peer reviews and specialist advice.
Her aviation experience is extensive, including hangars, docking, workshops, logistics buildings, simulator training facilities, check-bag screening facilities, offices, amenities and associated ancillary buildings. She has successfully delivered over 40 projects for Qantas Airways Limited.
Kate has also been involved with other transport sector projects; the Ferry Wharf Phase 3 Upgrade, Parramatta Light Rail and Victoria Cross Station, working with Tier 1 Contractors and Transport for NSW. Other key clients include Airservices Australia, the University of NSW, Merlin Entertainments, and the Department of Defence.
