Bret’s approach to architecture, planning and interior design applies a comprehensive knowledge base reflecting his design rigor and detail integrity. He joined COX in 1996.
His diverse skill-set is apparent through differing involvement across projects in Australia and overseas, where his design success is apparent in numerous state and national architectural awards.
Bret is dedicated to the continuation of knowledge, mentoring post-graduates in their career development as part of the University of Western Australia Mentor Scheme. He orchestrates education events for studio staff – passing on his love for architecture, materials and details. He leads the ESD sub-committee in the Perth studio and instigates key initiatives on a national level.
Integral to project resourcing and day-to-day studio management, Bret plays a major role in the overall creative stewardship of the Perth-based studio.
