Brad has been the Operational Lead of the COX National Design Technology Group since joining the practice in 2019. He also leads the national BIM initiative and is an active member of Crafting COX.
A registered architect with a wide range of experience spanning over 30 years, Brad has led major projects and coordinated collaborative teams in both Australia and overseas, including leading the design management for a number of significant projects such the Sydney Olympic Velodrome and Sydney University School of Business. This experience covers an extensive range of typologies from institutional, infrastructure, education, commercial, industrial and sporting, to technical building typologies including specialist research, teaching and learning environments.
Brad’s comprehensive understanding of the whole architectural process, and his hands-on approach to the use and development of design technology tools, results in the complete integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) into the design and delivery process. He ensures design technology is fully utilised and best managed to benefit building design outcomes. This experience and skillset is complemented by extensive skills in verification and quality assurance procedures, together with a thorough working knowledge of statutory requirements.
