Greg has over forty years of architectural experience. He spent his formative design years in Dubai, before joining the studio of John Corner in Spain. In Corner’s Marbella-based studio he was a project leader entrusted with the establishment of drawing offices in both London and Kuwait.
Greg returned to Australia in 1980 where he became a partner of Howlett and Bailey Architects. The practice merged with COX Architecture in 1995 and he was elected Chairman of the National Executive Committee in 1998.
Throughout his illustrious career, Greg has worked on substantial educational, multi-residential, commercial and civic projects. Notably, the West Australian Maritime Museum, Perth Children’s Hospital, Optus Stadium and The Opportunity Pavilion in Dubai. Greg is a past president of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (WA Chapter), founding and current Chairman of the WA Branch of the Australian Council of Building Design Professions, and past president of the Association of Consulting Architects WA.
With a long list of academic and architectural awards to his name, and an even longer list of projects across Australia and overseas, Greg is an integral member of COX Architecture.
