Sadly, James passed away in July of 2020 after an eighteen-month battle with leukemia. He will be remembered for his technical excellence, his commitment and leadership, his generosity of spirit and his big old laugh. He was a sportsman, a friend, a family man and an exceptional architect. He has left a lasting impression on sports architecture in Australia and will be missed by all.
