Vanessa has extensive experience across a broad range of project typologies with involvement spanning from initial client briefing through documentation delivery, project administration and superintendence to post construction duties.
Vanessa has particular skill in the technical analysis of complex project requirements. With a keen appreciation for detail, Vanessa provides the rigour and depth creative projects demand to ensure high performing, functional outcomes. Prior to joining COX in 2013, Vanessa worked at Mitchell Giurgola and Thorp (later Guida Moseley Brown Architects) on a wide range of significant projects within Australia and overseas. These included restorative works on heritage cultural institutions such as St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney and the State Library of South Australia, several diplomatic projects and culminated with the completion of Stage 1 of the new Canberra Airport.
Subsequently Vanessa adopted a leadership role with HBO+EMTB as Project Architect on several major health projects including the Canberra Region Cancer Centre, the ACT Health Infrastructure Program Master Documentation project and the Snowy Region GP Super Clinic.
At COX Vanessa has delivered documentation for a range of technical architectural and fitout coordination projects for Federal Government agencies, residential, sporting and retail projects.
