Ramin has worked at COX’s Sydney studio for over 20 years, being elevated to Director in 2017. He has extensive experience across a wide range of projects spanning transport infrastructures, residential, hotel, master planning, urban design, commercial, education and research.
Ramin led the team for the 161 Sussex Street redevelopment, which involved a new hotel and commercial tower in addition to convention and function facilities. He also led the $300 million Metro Residences Chatswood and Chatswood Transport Interchange (CTI), one of the largest developments on Sydney’s North Shore, incorporating residential, retail and rail. He has also been the architectural discipline lead for Sydney Metro and the Second Harbour Crossing incorporating five underground stations in the Sydney CBD and North Sydney.
Ramin manages complex projects with multiple design packages, large teams and multiple stakeholders.
Ramin is passionate about the continuation of knowledge, he has led master studios in the integration of architecture and transport infrastructure design at Sydney universities. He plays an active role as a link between university students and COX through the initiation of scholarships at tertiary institutions.
