Ramin is a Director who’s held key roles with COX for more than 19 years. His versatility as an architect is evidenced by the wide range of projects he’s led spanning transport infrastructure, residential, hotel, master planning, urban design, commercial, retail, education and research.
Ramin leads the mixed use and communities’ sector in our Sydney Studio. His current projects include the Rouse Hill Town Centre stage 2 expansion including residential, retail and commercial programs; Rouse Hill Northern Precinct Expansion Masterplan, an eight-hectare development inclusive of public domain, residential, commercial and communities’ uses; in addition to leading the 5-15 Albert Street Mixed use 40 storey tower in Auckland , New Zealand in a heritage setting. He also works across the commercial sector on upgrades to existing commercial tenancies for high profile developers including the 2 Market Street Upgrade in Sydney CBD. His residential work for COX Sydney includes the successful ‘Communities Plus’ bid for Ivanhoe, Macquarie Park, NSW.
Previously Ramin led the Hyatt Regency Expansion Project in Darling Harbour, which involved new hotel and commercial tower in addition convention and function facilities as well as leading the Metro Residences Chatswood and Chatswood Transport Interchange; one of the largest development’s on Sydney’s North Shore incorporating residential, retail and rail uses.
He has an active role in connecting COX Sydney studio with the wider NSW tertiary institutions through the organisation of scholarships, tutoring and guest critic roles.
