With over thirty years’ experience in the practice of architecture, he has gained expansive knowledge and skills through his dedication to the field. As a Director of COX, Ian has a truly diverse portfolio and brings his expertise to projects in education, sports, residential, workplace, security, defence, diplomatic, community and cultural sectors.
Ian advocates for an inclusive and holistic approach to design and delivery of projects which embeds imperatives including regenerative design, designing for country, and design for universal access and inclusion. With excellent leadership skills, Ian successfully drives projects forward to meet tight deadlines and consistently gets the best results from his project teams. He engages stakeholders and clients, emphasising their requirements and working efficiently to achieve their desired outcomes.
As Managing Partner, Ian guides and oversees the strategic and operational aspects of the practice, working to ensure that as a collective COX truly lives out our shared ethos, purpose and values to the enduring benefit of the community and environment.
