Tim joined COX’s Sydney office in 1985. Moving to Belgium in 1991, he worked as a hotel architect and project manager before returning to Australia. Upon moving to Brisbane, Tim re-joined COX, becoming an Associate in 1997 and a Director in 2001.
Tim has been project architect for several complex institutional and transport projects such as the Gold Coast Airport, Townsville Airport, Brisbane Magistrates Court and Southbank Institute of Technology. He has developed expertise in airports, health, justice and tertiary education design.
Tim also has a passion for affordable housing and public housing, completing three grounding projects for the Brisbane Housing Company over a six-year period.
Tim was responsible for the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in Fortitude Valley and was Project Director for Thuringowa Riverway Arts Centre and Lagoons which received the Australian Institute of Architects National Medal for Urban Design in 2007.
