John Ferendinos is a Director of COX, joining the Sydney studio in 2003. John has worked both locally and internationally on a broad range of projects that benefit from his design flair, coupled with his commitment to meeting client’s requirements.
John has architectural and urban design experience that spans diverse industry sectors, including aviation, commercial, cultural, educational, hospitality and residential, with an expertise in sports, convention and exhibition facilities.
John has played a key role in multiple high-profile international and local COX projects, such as Singapore’s Civic District Public Domain for Empress Place and Esplanade Park, the Ken Rosewall Arena and Precinct upgrade at Sydney Olympic Park, the Point Promenade in Durban South Africa, the Indonesia International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICE), the Kaohsiung Exhibition and Convention Centre in Taiwan, and the Jubilee Pedestrian Bridge and Concourse Skyline Apartments both in Singapore.
More recently, John is leading the new Centre of Excellence for Cricket NSW at Wilson Park, the Centre for Excellence for the NSW Waratahs Rugby at Daceyville and the new Sydney Speedway located at the Motor Sports precinct at Western Sydney Parklands.
