Zen has is a highly experienced architect who specialises in master-planning and urban design projects of varying scales, ranging from individual sites to street blocks, precincts, districts, and cities. His key interest is in the creation of a distinctive, dynamic, delightful and endearing public realm through the three-dimensional sculpting of internal and external public spaces, with particular focus on how they are seamlessly integrated within the existing cityscape, thus further consolidating the larger urban structure of the city.
Zen has worked across the globe, including in USA, Asia and Australia. Prior to joining Cox, Zen worked with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore. His experience and skills have contributed tremendously in creating the prominent city skyline, distinctive Precincts and memorable places within Singapore, most notably in and around Marina Bay and the CBD.
Zen has contributed significantly to the design of many vibrant places and urban landscapes in and around Melbourne, and is an integral part of several winning design competition projects and Architectural & Urban Design Awards.
