Eliza is a highly-skilled designer and Director of COX. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in contemporary architectural thinking as well as an enviable understanding across the practice and principles of good design.
With a belief that complacency is the biggest danger to good design, Eliza’s focus and determination produces outstanding architectural solutions on every project she leads.
Eliza is a natural project leader, engaging with a diverse range of project typologies and working enthusiastically, expertly and collaboratively across all project phases, from inception to completion.
She rejects the idea of design for design’s sake, exploring creative solutions to the core requirements of every project and working within site and client constraints to fulfil project goals. She strongly believes that architectural solutions require a dynamic approach, not born from a single reference point but responding to various moving parts and evolving needs.
Eliza is passionate about architecture developing through collaboration. This is evident in her work as well as her passion for mentoring younger designers in the studio, inspiring everyone she works with to strive toward leaving a positive mark on cities via the design of considered, high-quality buildings.
