At the forefront of sports design for the past 30 years, Alastair works with clients and partners to advance the typology of sport and entertainment venues globally. With a track record of involvement in most of the major stadia and arena in Australia and New Zealand, including Allianz Stadium, Optus Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Rod Laver Arena, the SCG and Eden Park, he has also worked on the delivery of venues and overlay for the Olympic Games as well as the FIFA, Cricket and Rugby World Cups.
Alastair’s extensive experience sees him develop strategies that assist private and government clients in the creation of new developments. His strategic and future-focused insights have helped define the needs of major sporting and events infrastructure throughout the Asia Pacific.
His work has been recognised through numerous architectural and industry awards and, as a global authority on sports design, he is often called on by media in Australia and overseas for commentary.
