Fernando is a creative architect with in-depth knowledge into both the design and operational aspects of a build. After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture, Fernando completed a degree in construction management and economics. His wide skillset saw him work with several large local practices, before being made a Director at Eames and Associates. Joining COX in 2002, he was made a Director in 2014.
Fernando has made a significant contribution to major government and private sector projects in a portfolio that includes residential, educational, justice, health, planning, hospitality and commercial projects. With experience in delivering under multiple procurement systems, he has been involved in a list of prestigious projects including St Thomas More College Student Accommodation, Perth Children’s Hospital and Albany Entertainment Centre.
Fernando is a member of the Royal Australia Institute of Architects and is a registered builder with the Master Builders Association of Western Australia.
