Alex joined COX in 2013, bringing knowledge and appreciation of global contemporary design approaches from his time spent studying in Finland. Since completing his Master of Architecture in 2014 he has been involved in sports, residential, cultural and community, transport links, and events projects.
Alex seeks out clear, well-articulated responses to design challenges and is driven by a desire to create meaningful spaces that people can connect with. His strong communication skills allow Alex to coordinate project teams and produce innovative design outcomes in line with tight deadlines.
Alex has overseen the design, documentation, and construction of over 30 buildings of varying scale and complexity at the Willinga Park Equestrian Facility. These include sporting, events, hotel and resort facilities that have been recognised for industry awards and are of global significance. Recently, Alex has brought his comprehensive design approach to international competitions, modular and co-living concepts for EcoHaus and Bloom, and the Yowani Golf Club Master Plan.
