William joined COX in early 2014 as a model‑making specialist, working closely with the practice’s education teams. Since then, he has worked extensively at all stages of the project life cycle. With experience across a broad variety of sectors, William brings a diversity of experience to each project, with a methodical approach to problem solving.
William uses a variety of computer aided manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and hand crafting techniques to contribute to model making and craft within a broad range of projects. This direct involvement in process also extends to architecture at full scale, with the development of various details, lighting, doors, furniture, and other feature pieces for use across a variety of project types and scales.
The human experience and the way that a diverse group uses a building continues to drive every element of design for William, with humanism in architecture a key interest. He approaches design challenges in search of an outcome that is elegant, robust and provides the best combination of value and delight for the building’s future users.
