He is committed to creating alluring spaces for people and leaving a lasting, sustainable legacy for cities.
Manfred’s architectural approach is driven by a pursuit of conceptual clarity, elegance, and an obsession with meticulous detailing. Manfred’s projects reflect his dedication to excellence and a passion for crafting spaces that resonate with both emotion and purpose. A skilled designer and proven team leader, Manfred has successfully delivered a series of complex projects that combine value, sustainability, and elegance. Most recently, he led the design development and delivery of Roma Street Station, coined as the new Grand Central of Brisbane. Additionally, he led the competition-winning design of St. Marys Metro Station, part of the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Link.
Manfred is also a passionate advocate for mentorship and has served as an external critic at the Bartlett School and Oxford Brooks University in the UK.
