Jacky has been with COX since the penultimate year of his Bachelor of Architectural Studies at UNSW after being awarded the COX Scholarship Award in 2018.
He is a strong academic performer, evidenced through five scholarship offers across several universities. Jacky’s engagement with the local community has also been recognised through his nomination as Young Australian of the Year in 2014. In 2024, Jacky was also named in the final cohort for the prestigious 30under30 program by the Australian Design Review. He has previously tutored the Masters Graduation Studio at UNSW for a number of years and is particularly interested in residential and public architecture.
Jacky has also been involved in high-profiled international and city-shaping competitions such as Atlassian HQ, Cockle Bay Wharf Redevelopment, Powerhouse Ultimo Renewal and most recently, the Riverside Theatres Redevelopment where the COX-lead consortium was named the eventual winners in late 2024.
Jacky has managed career trackers and career seekers students and peers with good communication and mutual respect and has lead and assisted teams with coordination and the proficient use of Revit, AutoCad, Lumion and Adobe Suite.
