An experienced architect and leader within COX’s sustainability team in Melbourne, David embeds regenerative design into all phases of projects from inception. Through a lens of public contribution and design excellence, his work is sensitive to its context and benefits communities while consistently meeting client objectives.
David is recognised for his work across a range of typologies including hotels, commercial, residential, retail and education, both in Australia and internationally. Of note is his expertise in balancing quality design with complex constraints, seeing him become a specialist in mixed-use projects on difficult urban sites.
An all-rounder with strengths and experience from concept through to construction phases, David contributes has developed specialist expertise in hotel and resort projects. Notable projects that he has led the Sebel at Silverwoods Golf and Lifestyle Resort, Yarrawonga, the flagship Hilton Hotel component in Melbourne Square, and the Marriott Executive Apartment mixed-use development on St Kilda Road.
