Laura leads COX teams in turning regenerative thinking into operational shifts and built work that allow people and ecosystems to thrive together. A Chartered Architect (RIBA), Regenerative Practitioner, and Living Future Accredited Professional, she couples rigorous technical insight with an inclusive co-design approach, guiding clients and communities to reveal each project’s distinct potential and shared value.
Over more than a decade, Laura has shaped award-winning projects ranging from Living Building Challenge consulting for the National Circularity Centre in Bega, NSW, to CSL’s Global Headquarters in Melbourne, and the adaptive reuse of Manchester’s heritage-listed Stock Exchange Hotel. Her leadership earned the Living Future Institute of Australia’s 2023 Hummingbird Award and a 2019 Architect of the Year shortlist.
Curious and highly motivated, Laura sees every project as a chance to connect people into the living fabric of their place—confident that the buildings most cherished tomorrow will be those grounded in and responding to place’s enduring character.
