Stuart’s passion for designing places for people has seen him specialise in sports stadia, cultural and community gathering spaces and key public transport nodes. In particular, he has spent time working internationally across the sports and entertainment sectors, bringing this global knowledge to all his projects.
Demonstrating a high level of versatility, Stuart successfully delivers large-scale projects of civic importance with commercial consistency and design excellence. He is skilled in parametric design and 3D conceptualisation, and with a strong understanding of long-span, lightweight structures, possesses a unique edge in the concept design and detail development of many of COX’s most innovative projects.
Stuart’s project leadership is based on a deep understanding of contemporary design and champions a genuinely collaborative approach – one that engages with client needs and develops design solutions that are rigorously applied at all scales to produce well-coordinated and integrated built outcomes.
