National BIM Coordinator
Ashley joined COX in 2012 as an architect for the Cairns Cultural Entertainment Precinct, having added many projects to his portfolio since.
Ashley credits his ability to finesse construction as key to meeting architectural requirements. He used these skills on the award-winning Queen Elizabeth ll Courts of Law and the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct. Notably, he also worked on the Townsville Hospital Redevelopment, undertaking the Cancer Centre, South Block Ward and Clinical Support Centre.
Ashley is a leader in building information technology (BIM) processes and solutions. He has assisted in the successful delivery of over $3 billion in projects utilising BIM. Ashley is a member of the COX Architecture national BIM team and is 2IC for BIM at the Brisbane studio. Ashley presented at the Asia and Pacific Revit Technology Conference in 2010 on the effects of BIM on the Brisbane Supreme and District Court.
