David is a Principal Consultant at COX, specialising in airports, transport, and infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally.
His design focus lies at the intersection of urban infrastructure, transport connectivity, and public placemaking. This is reflected in major projects such as Western Sydney International Airport, Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 3, the University of Sydney Master Plan, New Delhi International Airport Terminal 3, Sydney International Airport’s “Forum” and “Marketplace,” the Barangaroo Ferry Hub, and the Sydney West Metro.
David is a recipient of both the NSW Board of Architects Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship and a Churchill Fellowship. A passionate advocate for hand drawing in design, he has published two books—Drawing Italy and Drawing Paris—and frequently runs drawing masterclasses.
He has also contributed to the profession through roles including Councillor for the NSW Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects, Registration Examiner for the New South Wales Board of Architects, and Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Design, Architecture & Building at the University of Technology Sydney.
